Some Playful Activities You Can Do With Children On The Beach

What are some of the best beach games or activities for kids that you can include in your next beach vacation?

Without any doubt, there are a number of activities you can adapt according to your situation, but whichever activity you choose should be fun to play, should keep your kids moving, should adaptable to smaller kids, and also it should open up a child’s imagination or creativity.

Beach Touch Football

Scavenger Hunt

You can play this game very easily by making pair of younger kids with elder ones. Limit the search are by creating boundaries. Players can stash their items in a hole dug in the sand. Give each team a list of items to find, set a time limit, and go to it. This would be great fun for everyone.

Capture The Flag

This one is also one of the most enjoyable games you can play with team. Have teams build a sand castle and place a flag on the top of the castle. Teams try to steal their opponent’s flag.

Piranhas

To play this game you need to draw a big circle in the sand. Choose one kid as the piranha. The piranha chases everybody else. When the piranha tags another person, that person also becomes a piranha, and joins in the chase. Last one left is the winner.

Tug-o-war

Divide two teams of equal strength. Now you will need a large-diameter nylon rope. Draw a line in the sand between the two teams. Holler “Go!”, and try to drag the opposing team across the line. Team that will successfully pull the team across the line will be winner.
