How to Make a kids Indoor Playground

Indoor playground provide great way for kids active inside! Allow kids to run, jump, slide and climbing on variety of structures when the weather prevents the kids from playing outside! 

An indoor playground also including areas for imaginative play using puppets, paint, sand and small toys like seesaw, swing, spring rider, These type of play is especially important for smaller kids using indoor playground as they may not physically able to use larger pieces of equipment like excise equipment on park! 

Indoor playground does not have to be large, but big enough to provide adequate room for children to engage in physical activity! (for age 2-6 years old)

 First decide the playground will be a small removable structure that will be set up each time it is used, this type of playground called mobile indoor playground, also bouncer, swivel chair are suit for this purpose.

Most playground will be permanent structure housed in a special space such as super market, basement, restaurant , coffer shop or community. 

 

Measure the play area, decide the specification for playground equipment, leave space for game, rest area and party room, fire pass-way and reception area etc… 

The playground items should be located toward the center of the room, be sure to leave a area around the outside of the play structure to allow kids to run from each play system. 

Then measure the space for indoor structure, make a draw show size of each side, the height to ceiling also the column location and size if have any.

Installing of outdoor Playground

Lay down the rubber floor on ground.

The rubber floor on different thickness, For any thickness if glue on ground will be much better! You also can ignore this process if rubber floor thickness on 5cm. This kids of rubber floor are very heavy, Kids run and play on it will not move it! 

Make sure the locations of equipment on the floor, Walking around the playground to determine that there will be enough space between each play system, adjust accordingly. 

Refer to the size of playground, after determine the location of the play items, you can begin the installation according the the installation diagram you received from supplier. 

Each play equipment have their own process of assemble, follow the installation diagram and strictly follow the specification.

Create rest area such like chairs or benches so the children and parents can rest.
